Why women love a Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring?

I think this should be more a statement rather than a question, because fact is:  Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring

Women love jewelry, and this love is embedded into our consciousness and probably even subconsciousness.  The media and our social surroundings have almost programmed us to believe that a diamond ring is so much more than just a ring with an expensive gem stone.
As extreme as this may sound, and I am certainly guilty of this myself, but a diamond to me means love for ever, it is a guarantee of love ever after.
As a woman yourself or perhaps a man wanting to buy a princess cut diamond ring you have to know that:

women want eternal love and they want security- security that the man they love will love them back for ever

Clever marketing people have made sure that a diamond engagement ring says exactly this, plus so much more.
In addition…and here is the part that I personally hate to admit…

I LOVE THE ENVY AND JEALOUSY OF OTHER WOMEN DIRECTED AT ME WHEN THEY SEE MY PRINCESS CUT DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING!

There I said it, and if you are honest with yourself…deep down you feel the same thing. It is OK to admit it, every woman feels like that- no matter how much they are trying to fight this inherent force.
I have always looked at myself as a unique woman and have always wanted to stand out, be it through my education, my personal style and flair, the way I think about the world and social issues and so on. Wearing my (expensive) diamond princess cut ring sets me apart and makes me feel special and exclusive.

What woman does not want to feel special?

I cherish the magnificence of my engagement ring and the exquisiteness and confidence boost I feel when wearing my ring.
Apart from that, diamonds are stunning!!! What woman would not feel stunning with this on her finger:  Platinum Princess Cut Solitaire Diamond Engagement Ring (picture of ring below)

When my darling Steve gave me my diamond ring I was swept off my feet. I thought to myself: This man loves me and has bought this ring to me to show me how special he thinks I am. He wants me to feel special and I do: I have him and my diamond engagement ring.

  1. Elle The Diamond Girl

That is wonderful Matthew. Congratulations and thank you for your kind words.
You are a man who has finally figured us out :)

Also, one more hint: certain style rings represent individual personalities and ages. If Stacey is young and trendy, you want the ring to reflect that, but I believe that a princess cut diamond ring is appropriate for all.

    All the best.
    Keep me updated :)

  2. I am about to ask my girlfriend of 5 years to marry- I figured it is time, the girl has put up with me for 5 years
    :)

It is a great thing that I saw this post, it definitely helps me understand the feeling women get when they receive a diamond engagement ring. My girl (Stacey) is precious, she is my precious gem stone and I want her to feel as special as you did when you got proposed to.

Thanks for sharing your story and for the great advice.
